Born in Munich, Germany, Andreas Hofweber first saw his future behind the lens of a camera at the age of 6. Andreas saw beauty in all his subjects, and with that he decided to move to Venice, Italy to hone his craft. As his appreciation for photography grew, he realized he had a niche for bringing out the best and so much life from the individuals taking pictures of. His reputation for having an outgoing personality and his genuine love for people became contagious and made him one of the most sort after photographers in Europe.

While he was thrilled with his career in Europe, he decided to come to New York. Striving to reach out to beauty and celebrity clients, his clean, classic approach to beauty and his exquisite lighting brought him immediate success. He began to shoot editorially for Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan and to shoot celebrities ranging from Michael J. Fox to Whitney Houston to Natalie Cole and the late Luciano Pavarotti.

Hofweber is driven by his own burning desire to find beauty in everyone. His striking images are born from technical understanding and studying photography. But it doesn’t end there, he takes the time to get to know his subjects so that they feel at home on his set and if they shine from within, he has the innate ability to capture that within his lens.

Andreas warm heart and affection also shows in his charity work. He has flown all over the world including Ethiopia, Bolivia, Indonesia and Cuba. He has documented illness and poverty through very emotional photos. Through his photographs he has brought awareness to many in Europe and America about the problems going on in different parts of the world and via donating his photographs he has supported and helped several different organizations.

Photographer Andreas HOFWEBER is new at GoSee. Following a creative residence in Venice, the Munich-born photographer has now re-located to New York. He specialises in Beauty, Celebrity and Fashion photography, but has also visited and documented the world between Ethiopia and Cuba.
