Giovanni Rivas, born in Puerto Rico, moved to N.Y. to study fashion design on the renowned F.I.T university.
In 1992 he completed his degree as a fashion designer. Working as a designer, Giovanni discovered his talent about doing make up and hair more and more .
This guides him directly to the late Kevin Aucoin and Giovanni took the opportunity to assist this amazing make up artist.
After that expirience Giovanni started to work as a make up artist for Christian Dior in N.Y. .
Over a period of time he met make up artist Bobbi Brown and also this teamwork became very successful.
Since 1999 Giovanni has been with close up agency.
He is based in Hamburg, Germany.
