Cecil Arp Vita

Cecil was born on the small island of Foehr in 1972.
By the age of 23 he had moved to Hamburg to pursue his dream of becoming a photographer.
Consequently he began working as an assistant to photographer Manu Agah and many more well established photographers from different areas of photography.
Parallely he began to build up his own portfolio and became a freelance photographer in 2001.
Cecil loves to shoot people and portraits. His style is spontaneous, authentic, natural and fresh.
He has the unique ability to capture a moment's essence without a "staged" feeling.
Cecil lives and works in Hamburg and has shot for clients like C&A, Deutsche Bahn, Emmi International, Gelbe Seiten, HVV, Jever, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Peta, Poundwise, Playstation, Sea Devils, SKL, Smart, S. Oliver, Sparkasse, Tesa Film, Venice Beach, West and ZDF.
