Michael Nager Vita

Michael was born in Graz / Austria in 1979. In 1995 Michael moved to Hamburg where he finished school in 1998. His passion for photography started when he was a kid, but has deepened and matured over the years. As a result Michael started to assist photographers such as Stephan Abry, Martin Timmermann and Axl Jansen after finishing school. After this Michael studied photography at the prestigious Lette Verein in Berlin where he graduated in 2003. Since then Michael is working as a freelance photographers based in Berlin. Michael is fascinated by landscape and people topics which he often combines in his work. Through the years he became more and more interested in close-up portraits, too. In 2008 Michael was awarded at the PDN Photoannual 2008. In the same year he received an award from National Geographic US for landscape photography. Michael has worked for clients like Rewe, GE Capital Direkt, o2, VW Passat, EoN, Post, Braun, Samsung, Berenberg Bank and BMW magazine.
