Graphic, punk, sexy and eccentric are words that most clearly describe Fredrik Skogkvist´s photographic style. His interest in images and composition was founded at a young age as he spent hours documenting himself and his friends at the local skate-park.

"I love all forms of visual communication. When I have time I can sit for hours and dream myself away in pictures", he says.

He carried out his Military Service as a photographer, after which he assisted Robert Nettarp for a few years.

In 1996 Fredrik went to New York, where he made his base until 2003 when he returned to Sweden.

Over the years he has held a wide range of exhibitions, both in Sweden and internationally.

He is also one half of the director duo Carl-Gustav, which produces music videos and commercials.

For Fredrik, there is only one way: If it moves, shoot it, if it doesn´t move shoot it again.
