Born in the countryside in the North of England Lucy set her sites on London at a young age and made the decision to move down in 2008 following her love of the fashion and beauty industry.

Attention to detail of made-up eyebrows and big eyes instilled from her own mother’s makeup, triggered off a passion to pursue the medium and a must for her signature look. Moving to London gave Lucy the opportunity to find her unique style and the ability to push her own boundaries by working with photographers and stylists. Lucy’s big break however came when she was on the 55 bus and was spotted by photographer Tim Walker. She then became subject to a 10 page editorial in i-D magazine resulting her in a raised profile and a plunge into the fashion world.

She has worked closely with a range of high profile artists at London Fashion Week and loves the hectic atmosphere backstage.

Lucy has collaborated with Photographers such as Tim Walker, Damon Baker, James D Kelly, James White, Nick Dorey, Walter Hugo, Ami Sioux, Nik Hartley, Saga Sig, Danican, Greta Illeva, George Harvey, Paul Scala, Billy Ballard and Emma Tempest.

Her perfectionist approach to her work maintains a dynamic look seen in titles such as i-D, W, Tank, RE-BEL, Nylon, Disorder, Drapers, Drama, NO, as well as an online interview for Italian Vogue (Vogue.it.com).

In addition Lucy works closely with i-D Magazine as ‘Beauty Contributor’ where her role involves carrying out a highly artistic endeavour following her own brief as well as collaborating with the i-D team. Lucy has initiated countless projects for i-D online as well as the magazine. She also works closely with photographer Billy Ballard in producing a beauty shoot at the live i-D Pop Up Shop.
