Growing up in the surf of Southern California, Paul graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English/Creative Writing and immediately set off to travel the world in search of stories. However, he unexpectedly found himself in the fashion industry and utilized modeling to travel the world for the next decade. During this adventurous time he realized his method of storytelling was through images as well as words, and proceeded to teach himself the art of photography.   Paul’s uniquely romantic style is blended with a distinctly cinematic narrative highlighting the natural beauty of his subjects in emotionally charged imagery.  To express this he often exploits natural or environmental light with a minimal reliance on digital alteration.    Apart from photography, Paul is a published poet, writer, director, and avid surfer. Both his fashion and documentary work regularly appear in prestigious publications worldwide.    Paul is based in New York.
