Hiro was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. At the age of 15 years old, one of his friends showed him a David Bowie Video which inspired him to become a makeup artist.  Hiro decided to go to the well known  Shiseido Beauty School to pursue his love for makeup and fashion.  After graduating from Shiseido, he moved to New York to fulfill his dreams of working as a makeup artist.   Hiro continues to work internationally as a  makeup artist for the collections of renown brands Mark Jacobs, Fendi, Ralph Lauren, Derek Lam, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Oscar de La Renta and Theory.  Some of his other clients include Bloomingdales, Another Man Magazine, V Man Magazine, Toyota, Seiko and Nespresso Advertising
