The official warm-up of #UPDATE15BERLIN in 2015 was also the vernissage of the exhibition BASICS ART II. For the presentation of their newest collection during the Berlin Fashion Week, the German-French designer duo AUGUSTIN TEBOUL relied on Ellen von Unwerth. The photographer portrays in her pictures the characteristic sketches of designers Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul in a total of 12 motifs. Finally: On 3 July, BASICS, the agency for hair, make-up and styling, opened the doors of its own gallery in Berlin. The BASICS ART project will foster changing exhibitions where the artists can realize the ideas they have long dreamt of. The Munich-based men's clothing store HIRMER is advertising with the catchy slogan: 'Any man can Hirmer'. For visual realization, they relied on GABO c/o ROCKENFELLER & GÖBELS and BASICS artist Silvia NAEFE for styling.
