The Salone furniture fair in Milan starts next week and we couldn't be more excited!  In anticipation, FUTURE PERFECT compiled the following list of must see installations and exhibitions. The Salone del Mobile is the global benchmark for the Home Furnishing Sector. An invaluable tool for the industry as well as an ongoing, quite extraordinary promotional vehicle. The Salone made its first appearance in 1961, designed to promote Italian furniture and furnishing accessories on the export market, and it has continued to do so impeccably, ensuring that the quality of Italian furniture is known to all four corners of the earth, and continues so to do, with half of all its visitors coming from around the world. After the success of the 2014 edition – attended by 311,781 trade operators - 205,464 of whom from foreign Countries; over 39,000 members of the general public and 6,276 communication operators – the Salone Internazionale del Mobile is reconfirmed as the acknowledged exclusive showcase for the latest in furnishing, with a vast range of top quality products in every conceivable style. The next edition will be held from 14 to 19 April 2015

About - The Future Perfect was born from a desire to create a showcase for exceptional decorative arts and design. In September of 2003, amidst a gathering of friends and enthusiasts, founder David Alhadeff opened the original store in Brooklyn with a party celebrating the burgeoning local design community. From those modest beginnings, The Future Perfect embarked on a path of steady growth and broadening horizons. Though still involved with the Brooklyn design scene, The Future Perfect has moved on from its Williamsburg roots, becoming a platform for design from around the world at its two locations in Manhattan and San Francisco. They are proud to feature many unique and special edition objects and furnishings from a diverse group of distinguished designers. Some work is by established figures in the design world while other pieces are by emerging talents. Taken together, they present a rich and compelling tapestry of dazzling possibility. thefutureperfect.com
