In collaboration with BRAIN CGI, Tom finished around 30 images of the new TOUAREG as well as R-Line and Exclusive via rendering for client VOLKSWAGEN AG and Grabarz & Partner agency. The didn’t use any conventional studio photography for this job, and thus created highly atmospheric interior scenes. The transportation photographer presents the new GERMANWINGS campaign on GoSee. 2013 has been a year full of CGI and virtual photography for Tom Grammerstorf. He shot the new UNIMOG for MERCEDES-BENZ with Jung von Matt / Neckar. The three images take the viewer to future worlds, real landscapes are completed with fictional constructions and specially designed robots and drones, as well as imagery that was entirely created using CGI. Tom GRAMMERSTORF is a new entry at GoSee. The Hamburg based photographer specialises in transportation and people images and is a pioneer of virtual photography. Since 1992 Tom’s passion has been real photography but in 2008 he embraced virtual photography as well.
