The well-known water filter or bubbler is now becoming a lifestyle brand. That is : away from the product and more in the direction of lifestyle. 

In a multi-stage pitch for water filter brand Brita during the first half of 2023, Hamburg-based agency Leagas Delaney, and its team led by CEO Dirk Bittermann and co-founder Hermann Waterkamp, was successful and will now become the international lead agency.

Maren Huth, Director Global Brand Strategy & Experience of Brita SE: “Leagas Delaney absolutely convinced us during the selection process. We want to evolve Brita into a genuine lifestyle brand, and Leagas Delaney presented us the best strategic approach and ideas here.”

The cooperation between Brita and Leagas Delaney already started on 1 June. The goal is to transform the Brita brand globally and make it the voice of the post bottle generation, according to the advertising agency.

Brita SE, founded in 1966 by Heinz Hankammer, is a German manufacturer of drinking water filters headquartered in Taunusstein-Neuhof in the Rheingau-Taunus district of Hesse. The shares of the European company are held completely by the Hanvest Holding of the Hankammer family.
