Gallery Stock : We English - Simon ROBERTS's book and exhibition, breathtaking aerial shots by Mike LIGHT, sensual study of prostitutes by Debbie Fleming CAFFERY

New additions to Gallery Stock, London include photographers Mike Light and Simon Roberts.

Simon ROBERTS recently presented his “We English” project at the New York Photo Festival. Four prints from his series will be included in the “Home for Good” group show at the HOST Gallery, London. “We English” will be published by Chris Boot Ltd this autumn.

Mike LIGHT’s photographs are now also represented by Gallery Stock. The American photographer’s subject material is the relationship people have with their surroundings. This often sees him photograph industrial estates and surrounding landscapes from a bird’s eye view. GoSee presents several of his breathtaking aerial shots, more can be found at Gallery Stock.

The Gitterman Gallery in New York opened a show of Debbie Fleming CAFFERY’s work, with a book signing on 21 May. Her work is also represented by Gallery Stock. The exhibition closes on 31 July.

Her black/white photograph collection focuses on women who work as prostitutes. The works present the complexity of their everyday lives, their vulnerability and their strength. Her fourth monograph "The Spirit & The Flesh," featuring the work she realized in Mexico, includes an essay by Carrie Springer of the Whitney Museum of American Art.
