This year, make-up artist MARTIN Schmid was crowned as a CHANEL ambassador . He travels Germany and Austria as the press make-up artist. He works closely with Susan Sterling, Chanels international make-up artist and spokeswoman. All the ambassadors meet in Paris twice a year, where they learn all the new looks from her. Martin ensures that the four annual looks are communicated to fashion and beauty magazines.
The latest A/W look is inspired by an imaginary garden. Mystical garden scenes with beautiful camellias set the tone. Coco Chanel was once asked: *What do you eat for breakfast?*, she answered: *Madame, in the morning I have a camellia and in the evening an orchid.* (taken from *Chanel Solitaire* by Claude Delay).
