In their typically enigmatic style, Swedish illustrator “Duo Infernale” Ingela och Vi have designed new wallpaper patterns for their client YOURWALLPAPER. Their topic this time – SWING ! A wallpaper which lets you choose who to shake a leg with, man and woman, woman and woman or man and man – the choice is all yours, and you are treated with a wall that never ceases to stand still.
 
Beforehand, they composed designs, which were inspired by literature. Thus, you can experience August Strindberg's “Red Room” within your own four walls. His homonymous opus marked the beginning of a new movement in Swedish literature history. Featuring a socio-critical depiction of urban life, the novel unfolds into a broad panorama of cosmopolitan Stockholm around 1870. The ever changing metamorphoses of the public sphere's various levels manifest themselves first and foremost in parliamentarian debates, in the theatre milieu or in the salon's gregarious rallies. Yet, one can find more easily digestible fare such as Astrid Lindgren's “Pippi Longstocking” playground as wallpaper as well.
