Hasselblad Masters 2009 Award - the 10 winners on GoSee

It is the ninth consecutive time that Hasselblad have crowned ten greatly varying photographers as the ‘Hasselblad Masters’.

The award was presented in ten categories: Architecture, Editorial, Mode / Beauty, Fine Art, General Photography, Nature / Landscape, Portrait, Wedding / Social and New Comer Artists.

Grading criteria included creativity, design, concept and mastery of the craft.

According to Hasselblad, almost 3,000 photographers entered their work; nearly double the number from 2008.

In addition to the ‘Master’ title, the nominees win a Hasselblad H4D, a film camera and a screenplay.

The realised projects are then presented by Hasselblad, a book and party during the 2010 Photokina 2010 in Cologne are also in the pipelines.
