2Agenten : Phobia - illustrator Maren Esdar's exhibition opening in Berlin

On Thursday, 14 January 2010 at 7pm, the 2Agenten Gallery, located at Gartenstrasse 1 in Berlin-Mitte, will launch ‘Phobia’; a solo exhibition of illustrator Maren ESDAR’s work.

Maren's collages are marked by an extraordinary intuition and a surreal and powerful imagination.

Her works are evocative of a game, in which cruelty and beauty converge in what seems to be an unflawed harmony.

This very aesthetic is charged even further due to the topic of the current exhibition – human fears and phobias.

Born in Hamburg 1972, Maren’s work has been published by Gestalten Verlag (amongst others), she works for clients from all around the globe and is frequently featured in international magazines – furthermore, her work is also regularly covered by GoSee NEWS.
