Deutscher Werbefilmpreis 2011 in Frankfurt and after show party at Nu Soul tickets to give away on GoSee

On the 19th of November, Schauspiel Frankfurt will roll out the red carpet to welcome Germany’s best advertising filmmakers: The German Advertising Film Award 2011 praises the best in advertising from the Produzentenallianz (formerly: VDW) for the tenth time, featuring exceptional and creative endeavours that have been undertaken in the production of advertising films.

527 submissions entered the race for the famous award, which is presented in 17 categories.

Around 1,000 guests are expected to join the awards ceremony of the German 'advertising Oscar' and the legendary after show party at NuSoul at Saatchi & Saatchi. Christine Henning and Roberto Cappelluti are the hosts of the evening. If you fancy winning a pair of last minute tickets for the Saatchi event – just send a couple of convincing sentences to GoSee. Once again, the organisers managed to make famous filmmakers part of the event, on top of professionals and politicians: The Hattos for the categories cast and styling will be awarded by Carsten van Rysssen (Heute Show, Polylux) and Susanne reloaded'). Other speakers are Michael M. Maschke, Head of Creative Services at Saatchi & Saatchi (Props), Helmut Hartl, CEO Embassy of Dreams (Sound Design) and Markenfilm Crossing-CEO Oliver Hack (Crossmedia & Best Use of Media).

Just like the VDW AWARD before it, the German Advertising Film Award honours individual creative achievements. The Hatto awards are divided into 17 categories.

As usual, the most exciting question is not who won, but who selected the winners: the jury consists of agency representatives, members of the Produktallianz, press and professions. All in all, a total of 150 creative minds. Click here for a full list of names.
