Private view photos from Hamburg's Deichtorhallen - celebrity guests honour artists Nobuyoshi Araki and Sergey Bratkov

Last Thursday, the Hamburg Deichtorhallen’s House of Photography was transformed into a dazzling art event.

The opening of the exhibitions by Nobuyoshi Araki and Sergey Bratkov, GoSee reported, attracted countless VIP guests and art enthusiasts to an exclusive preview.

The Director of the Deichtorhallen, Dr. Dirk Luckow and the Ukrainian Consul General, Dr. Andrii Melnyk held an opening speech.

International curators Dr. Margit Zuckriegl from Museum der Moderne Salzburg and Thomas Seelig from Fotomuseum Winterthur introduced the exhibition.

Princess Sayn-Wittgenstein/CEO Sothebys, Dr. Harald Falkenberg/Collector and F.C. Gundlach, collector and founding director.

Kiez personality Kalle Schwensen, as well as Harro von Have, designer Uli Schneider and PR ladies such as Nane Mundt and Marietta Andreae.

Helmut Baron from Toll/Merck Finck Bank, Guido Graf Finck from Finckenstein/Credit Suisse Bank, Dr. Klaus Wehmeier/Executive Board Körber Foundation, Xing Founder Daniela Hinrichs and cultural investors such as Klausmartin Kretschmer and Dr. Hans Jochen Waitz are amongst the many illustrious names that have a heart for art.
