ROCK N'OLD by photographer Esther Haase book presentation at Hamburg's Photo Book Days

Photographer Esther Haase likes to play with taboos – especially when it comes to their aesthetics.

Her latest photo book, titled ‘Rock’n’Old’ presents the 80+ generation in unusual lascivious poses and associates old age with erotica and sensuality.

Esther cast her senior models at Berlin’s Jahnke care home; the outfits were deigned by Vivienne Westwood and her master class students.

Esther Haase photographed a total of 50 men and women. The aesthetic results are presented in a photo book published by Kehrer Verlag and on the photo book days at the Hamburg’s Haus der Photographie.

The photographer will hold a book signing at the venue on 6 June.

The event will take place at Haus der Photographie from 4 to 6 June and includes countless exhibitions, talks, book presentations and signings. An absolute must for photography fans.
