The Hasselblad search for the most exciting photo project of 2011. Multi-stage event with live shoot on 3 July at Briese Studios, Hamburg

The camera manufacturer is looking for the most exciting photography project of 2011. The winner will have the opportunity of using Hasselblad equipment for up to three months and realising a photography project from the sketch board to the publication.

Besides professional photographers, enrolled students of universities and photography schools are welcome to take part. Students without a personal website can submit a concise printed portfolio.

The jury is made up of Ingeborg Wiensowski of Kulturspiegel, Regine Dee of seen.by, GoSee Member and youngest BFF member J. Konrad Schmidt, Christine Heinrichs Project supervision, victor by Hasselblad, Maxi Schumacher from Hasselblad Press agency, as well as marketing manager Frank Riecke.

Applications can be sent in advance or handed in from 3 July onwards in Hamburg between 11am and 6pm at Briese Studios, Semperstrasse 28-30. Further information on taking part, including registration options are available here.

The Briese event on 3 July will see GoSee member Ryszard and Paula KOPCZYNSKI presenting the new Hasselblad H4D generation in workflow during a fashion & style life shoot. We have attached an overview of their current portfolio

The freebie software Phocus 2.5 for the Mac will be revealed for the first time ever. It enables the user to import RAW files from over 150 DSLR cameras (Canon, Nikon etc.) and the standard file formats (TIFF, JPG etc.)
