UPdate 2009 : Salon for Photography on 24. April at the historic Kino International, Berlin

In 2009 the UPdate will be travelling with lighter luggage. The Salon for Photography, the largest industry meeting on the European continent is looking forward to a nine-hour Happy Hour with art buyers, CDs, ADs, direct clients, PR offices, journalists and co from all over the world.

In ‘09 the portfolio and stall battle will be replaced by an indulgent buffet and bar. Ever since its establishment, the UPdate has always stood for contacts, conversations, new acquaintances. Its one day premiere on Friday, 24 April will be in keeping with the tradition of its mingling of exhibitors and interested industry clients in animated conservation.

Creatives (AB, CD, AD) will once again, as with the previous years, receive free tickets via the CREATIVE DATABASE address service. Anyone that wishes to register now can do so by simply emailing the address provided below.

This year’s location is the legendary KINO INTERNATIONAL. We are sure that some of you may already be familiar with this Berlin hotspot, which is closely approximated to the Kosmos-Kino, the ADC exhibition location.

Tickets are limited in 2009 owing to the spatial limitations of these historic venues. During these turbulent times it is best to view portfolios in advance on the internet – thus saving some time for the fine things in life.

The UPdate team are looking forward to a wonderful, entertaining and successful day in the company of its exhibitors and the creative industry’s comrades in arms from both the agencies’ and clients’ fronts. We are already looking forward to many Happy Hours.

Ticket for photographers, bookers, agents, production companies, etc: 150 Euro.
Entrance fee for the general public after 6pm: 20 Euro.
