BOOKLET swinging London : meet Singer Bishi and Drag-oner, Clubpromoter and DJ Jodie Harsh

BOOKLET challenged London-based fashion designer Ziad Ghanem to exclusively interpret his latest collection, titled “The Immigrant”. The testimonials were drag queen, club promoter and DJ Jodie Harsh, and Asian-Brit singer Bishi. The brief was to stage, photograph and document this melting pot of the creative London underground’s elite. Here are the fierce results, the interview was carried out by Tim Quayle.

Couturier Ziad Ghanem has hand-selected the elite of the London underground scene. Musicians, actors and club kids are making names for themselves across the globe. Ziad has chosen these individuals and has had the help of top photographer Ram Shergrill to capture them in a unique and unusual way, which is always the case when they collaborate together on projects.

First up is Jodie Harsh. Ziad chose to shoot Jodie without her trademark wig and the photographs prove that, even without the wig, Jodie is iconic. She doesn’t have to hide behind all the make-up and hair. In his own right, she is a star!
