DRKSHDW EASTPAK - Eastpak collaboration with fashion designer Rick Owens !

EASTPAK create bags and luggage oozing in style, durability and functionality. Their Autumn/Winter collection sees them unveil their mot innovative fashion collaboration to date, with fashion designer Rick Owens.

Rick, originally from South California, currently lives and works in Paris. His aesthetic is inspired by Hollywood’s black and white films, as well as the derelict flair that lies at the wrong end of Hollywood Boulevard. This is where, having been thrown out from art college, he set up his label in the early 90s.

The king of modern, minimalist gothic, renowned for his understated elegance and pure luxury, has now collaborated with his DRKSHDW label for EASTPAK. The collection currently comprises 11 models.

Several pieces were created without the traditional seam; replaced by a revolutionary welding technique, which provides a clear and uniformed look. The project co-branded as “DRKSHDW EASTPAK“, will be available from selected stores worldwide from September 2009.
