Inspired by flowing fabrics and watercolours, the new Spring/Summer collection "Art hoc 2012" by FRANZIUS is composed of a melange of blue, grey and white tones. Pieces made of jeans-like linen contrast with flowing yet structured silk.
As in previous years, the core of the collection is a print: one large splash of colour simulating the flow of spilt molasses on light rayon fabric. Raw silk resembles white canvasses - blank surfaces which are meant for projection and interpretation.
Clear and geometrical patterning is typical for the Berlin avant-garde label FRANZIUS. In this Spring/Summer collection they melt into abstract constructions such as draped tops broken up by creative inlays in front and back.
The popular bicolour look has made a come-back this season as can be seen in the dresses with material mix details.
