Fashion fever in Lodz : designer MARTA SINILO's new collection & Poland Fashion Week

What exactly is going on in the Polish fashion scene? Internationally, the focus clearly lies further left on the map, in Milan, Paris or – for quite some time now – Berlin. Maybe this is due to change. Looking at the new talent, we can find many a designer who do not rank behind the market. Marta Sinilo is one of them. A learned stylist, she is already presenting her second collection. GoSee sneaked a peek.

Marta works for fashion magazines and blogs. She has a MA degree in styling from the Fine Arts School in Łódz and completed a short fashion design course at the Central St. Martins College of Art & Design in London. Her background is substantial. She dismisses the ongoing repetition and imitation of trends and uses her fashion and design experiences to create new styles. Her stylist expertise pour into her work as knowledge, sounds and pictures.

She firmly believes that fashion exists for everyone. That everyone expresses their personality in a unique ‘fashion’.

This link shows exactly how the designer expresses herself. She offers a glimpse into the secret world of her scrapbook, allows us to follow her while designing, drawing, draping, laughing. We can almost be led to believe she is showing us everything – even her bare feet!
