kid's wear department : Munsterkids - EAT MY DUST, Autumn / Winter 2012 on GoSee

Inspired by the urban legend Mikey Munster and his little sister Missie - the sharp-toothed troublemakers in every kid - the Munsterkids line is a fashion-forward collection of apparel driven by music, art and street culture.

Fall/Winter 2012 has Mikey and his mates taking to the streets: wheels spinning and dirt flying. Decks are kicked, carts are slid and bikes leave a trail of “eat my dust”.

Created by Rich and Samantha Brown in 2005, the Sydney-based label now exports to different countries around the world with established markets throughout Europe, Japan, USA, UK, Hong Kong, New Zealand and at home in Australia.

Having 3 boys of their own Jax, Zai and Kash, the Mikey character is mirrored every day and the boys constantly provide inspiration for the line. The collections include denim, outerwear, woven shirts and shorts, board shorts, graphic tees and fleece.

Since 2009 the line has expanded and launched a girls collection called Missie Munster. Missie blends some street style silhouettes with illustrations providing a nice alternative for the more street savvy little girl.

By now there are also looks for the very little ones: Mini Munster.
