kid's wear department : striking and futuristic - Chinche Autumn/Winter 2011/12 fashion for kids

CHINCHE might very well be a rather unusual name for a fashion label. But since we are talking about a kid’s wear label, kooky is the way to go. FYI, Chinche translates to bed bug or drawing pin? Sorry, what was that?

Nope, the people behind Chinche are not totally 'loco' – they are creative.

The kid’s wear brand from Barcelona creates a unique visual language for each collection. An imaginary world, inhabited by its own characters, illustrations and prints. Hence, it seems only natural that the clothes are rather distinct.

Unlike many other labels, Chinche only sports a few colours, but these are used with utmost precision. Black, white, sometimes beige or blue, just as long as its eye-catching.

Feathers, bear paws, triangles – don't make it too cute! The new autumn/winter 2011 collection turned out – how could we put it? - slightly futuristic, it's all about being fashion-forward. So are the photographs.
