Lady Westwood - and her Lady Dragon-shoe design for Melissa Plastic Dreams

Designer Vivienne Westwood had already designed shoes for Melissa in January 2008. When these were presented at São Paulo Fashion Week in Brazil they caused quite a stir, as was of course to be expected. In July the third shoe collaboration followed suit – another great success.

Hence it comes as no surprise that the plastic fantastic brand decided to present the summer 09 version – Lady Dragon, in January. Plastic with high heels, in vibrant colours and decorated with an eye-catching heart. The Minnie Mouse inspiration is a definite must have for all fashionistas and is in stores now, however you could give the in-store elbowing a miss and order directly from Melissa’s website.
