Basics : the barrista spot for MELITTA featuring Timon, editorial in BG magazine plus new address
Roland BRUECHER styled the young barman Timon from Berlin for the current MELITTA spot. The shoot took place in Berlin and was directed by Micky Suelzer. The 27-year old is the new brand ambassador and trend scout for the international family company. The launch of the new campaign includes a new TV spot and the opening of the digital 'Melitta coffee bar'.
The 27-year old bar man was scouted by a talent scout from Melitta while working in a café in Berlin. The scout had been searching for a brand ambassador for the new advertising campaign for Melitta, one of the leading German brands for high-quality coffee, filters and coffee machines. “Timon's charming personality and first and foremost his honest and passion for everything that is even remotely related to coffee, won us over in no time.”, explains Ebbe Grebe, head of marketing Melitta coffee. “We instantly knew, this is a match made in coffee heaven. A good guy for good coffee.”
MELITTA is the only coffee brand that offers everything related to the black beverage – from its own roast to full-on coffee machines. Melitta was founded in Dresden in 1908 and has grown to become an international family empire with headquarters in Minden. The company division Melitta coffee is based in Bremen.
