BBDO Düsseldorf were all round winners at this year’s Cannes Lions! They collected a total of six lions for six different clients. Precious metal was bagged, especially for the agency’s work for long-term clients – such as DR. OETKER; SMART, DEUTSCHER CARITASVERBAND, MELITTA, CHRISTOFFL BLINDENMISSION, as well as GoSee Member SPUK PICTURES.
GoSee presents a selection of the award-winning work, which successfully persuaded the jury. We were able to personally congratulate BBDO Creative Head Toygar Bazarkaya - who will soon be transferring from Düsseldorf to the New York BBDO headquarters. We caught up with him and Steffen Gentis, Head of TV at BBDO, on Pirates N'Paradise’s Rosé Beach… which is precisely why we love Cannes so much, it is wonderful to just bump into everyone – especially if they are glowing winners.
Equally as sensational: BBDO Worlwide has won the ‘Cannes Network of the Year’ award in a fourth consecutive year. Almap BBDO, Brazil was presented with 15 Lions and crowned with the Grad Prix of ‘Agency of the Year’, followed by BBDO New York with 12 Lions and Colenso BBDO, New Zealand with 10 Lions.
