Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal, Waldorf & Statler . . .the whole old gang is back. They are supported by 'How I met your mother’ star – Jason Segel plus three-times Academy Award nominee Amy Adams. We can hardly contain our excitement and are grateful for director James Bobin delivering this comedy powerhouse.

This is what it's all about: whilst on holiday in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to demolish the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds.

To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10-million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit the Frog reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called The Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. But it’s easier said than done.

Jason Segel and Nick Stoller, creators of slapstick-fests such as 'Take him to the Greek' (2010) and Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) penned the script for the screwball comedy, showing the muppets just how we love them the most: as themselves! Delightfully zany, colourful, absolutely bonkers – pretty much like our office really . . .

Jason Segel not only came up with the idea for the new muppets-caper, he and darling Amy Adams (Enchanted, The Fighter) play the non-muppet leading role. Applause! Applause! You can look forward to a reunion with the adorable, chaotic and unique show talents and many, famous stars from the film and music industry in cameos.
