DBC - Driven by Creatives : ‘a crash course to shine’ for VOLKSWAGEN and blogger Nikkie, ‘Join the movement’ for MC DONALDS and the HOTPOINT spot

‘A crash course to shine’ – please don't forget to fasten your seatbelts before watching the spot. The make-up crash course by super blogger Nikkie is more than worth your time. We would not be surprised if she ends up being showered with awards sooner rather than later. DOP Michael Schreitel c/o DBC created the professional glam-look.

Nikkie's tutorials, which you can watch here, can prove challenging. The DDB Tribal agency was in charge of coop for the ‘Don't drink & Make-up’ project, featuring the work of Chief Creative Officer Eric Schoeffler, Creative Directors Marc Isken, Nils Hasenborg and Art Director Lilli Langenheim.

Vintage look, top sounds and lots of junior action all feature in the new MCDONALD's spot. The slogan 'Join the Movement' promotes the mascotathon.co.uk website, where kids can make the MC-D mascots break a sweat – ensuring they all make it in time and in style to the Olympic Games in London 2012.

DOP Mark STUBBS created the look for the athletic kids. The supervising agency was Leo Burnett UK. If you were wondering what the cool song might be – it's 'Look at my New Shoes All Made Out of Wood', original vintage material taken from the Heidi motion picture and sung by the legendary Shirley Temple (*23rd of April 1928 in Santa Monica, California), currently residing close to San Fran, California.

'Our Ideas, Your Home' Director Timo SCHAEDEL realised the spot featuring the latest HOTPOINT ovens. Their USP: The temperature is the same in the whole oven. One less excuse for burning that pie! The supervising agency was JWT Milan with CCO Enrico Dorizza and the creative trinity of creatives Cristiano Tonnarelli, Pinky Mascetti and Alessandro Conte.
