Gap Films : Lamb meat, Girl meets Boy and final VIRAL

Filming a commercial for lamb’s meat probably isn’t one of the easiest tasks a commercial film director has to carry out. The agency’s creatives certainly didn’t think so, which is why they came up with a more than unusual script: an ad spot disguised as a film trailer. Funny, snappy, in the style of a screwball comedy romance. And all that in just 60 seconds!

Most wanted: a director that could meet these demands – GAP director Charley STADLER certainly fit their requirements. Not only has he gathered his experience in the storytelling spot, but also in feature films as well as work with celebrities including Gary Oldman, Robert Carlyle, Billy Zane. The result is a turbulent film cocktail which goes to show just how different efficient advertising can look…

Girl meets Boy. And how! Oscar winner Russel BOYD was the actor that starred in the spot. Paul Young’s classic anthem *Love is in the air* provides the soundtrack to the question to top all questions: *Would you marinate me?*.

GAP GOES VIRAL : with their *Sportsfreunde* = friends of sport, project GAP proves that sometimes less is more. Three viral spots were produced with Heye & Partner, which interpret the subject of sport and friendship in a deep dark humour: *are you looking for a new sports mate?* you can find out here what the reason might be for doing so…
