GoSee loves .... 'MUTA' by director Lucrecia Martel presents the new MIU MIU collection in a surreal style

The short film 'Muta' (Mute and Transformation) presents the new autumn collection of MIU MIU through surreal imagery as well as retro-sunglasses from the Noir collection.

The ghostly scenery; a ship that carries a hypnotised model-army, seen only from behind, with covered faces, that seems to communicate in a very strange language indeed. Maybe the language of fashion?

The very artistic film was produced by Argentinean filmmaker Lucrecia Martel (born in 1966). The last time we heard about her was when she was part of the competition at the 61st Cannes festival for the second time with her feature film La Mujer sin Cabeza. She was a member of the jury at the 65th festival at Venice headed by Wim Wenders.

Lucreacia Martel's career began in the late 1980s, when she produced her first shorts and animated films. In 1995, she directed the DNI documentary series. In the same year, she finished her short film 'Rey Muerto', a story about revenge and violence in North-western Argentina, which marked her international breakthrough and received an award at the Havana Film Festival.

In 2004 her second feature film 'La nina santa – the holy girl' followed, produced by Pedro Almodóvar.
