The Marmalade Creative Effects is a new entry at GoSee is. The Marmalade produces high-end special effects with a focus on food & tabletop. By means of SPIKE, the self-developed, worldwide unique high-speed-motion-control-system, the team of The Marmalade can create visual worlds, which could only be created inside computers up to this point.
SPIKE merges the world of high-speed photography with the absolute freedom of a moving camera. Pre-programmed camera routes can be reproduced infinite times.
Directors, cameramen, food & liquid specialist, SFX technicians, matte painters, 3D artists and composing experts are all part of The Marmalade team and work in a tight-knit team. A visual concept is created for each project and thanks to the ideal infrastructure of an in-house studio, equipment and workshops, all ideas and approaches can immediately be tested for realisation potential. In each case, there are careful deliberations as to what extent the studio takes will be completed through 3D elements.
The results are magnificently composed shots, elegiac food sequences and unusual, never-before-seen footage, which delights the international calibre of clients.
The most recent productions are an impressive testimonial to this fact, such as YAJUICE, commissioned by BBDO Moscow. A brilliant creation by director Karina TAIRA, the film communicates fruitful moments of delight through intense imagery.
Karina also realised REDD's, both films which bear the style of DOP Ekkehart POLLACK. Extreme close-ups, almost surreal pictures, the spot – commissioned by Bazina.Sass+ Moskau – takes the viewer on a journey that shows fruits from their most erotic side.
Torsten EICHTEN realised product sequences for DOVE/GALAXY on behalf of SapientNitro NYC as part of the global campaign. Tenderly melting chocolate, which engages in a sensual blend with milk and nuts; the playful dance of various textures makes the viewer’s mouth water. DOP Jean POISSON ensured all the imagery shines in exceptional brilliance.
Communicating the traditional image of the FÜRST VON METTERNICH champagne cellars without appearing overbearingly conservative, creating a fresh and surprising film without loosing sight of the brand's value – Torsten EICHTEN was happy to take on the challenge for BBDO Proximity and he succeeded, supported by DOP Eike RIECHE.
