NEW : Crossroad Films, London; director Trudy Bellinger and the trailer for Britain & Irelands Next Top Model featuring '80s icon Elle Macpherson
London-based film production Crossroad Films is a new entry at GoSee. They represent directors including glam specialist Trudy Bellinger.
Following the highly successful idents for the rebranding of British TV channel Sky Living, directed by Trudy Bellinger, the channel commissioned Trudy with the trailer spot for the brand new relaunched success series ‘Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model’. BINTM is another one to add to the list for fans of cryptic TV show abbreviations, especially since the latest version replaces ‘Britain's Next Top Model’, which did of course have one less letter.
Trudy’s fashion talents were called on for the spot – she was briefed to capture a glamorous vision of legendary top model and now TV show host Elle Macpherson, also known internationally as ‘The Body’.
Trudy’s list of clients includes international brands and bands, including Girls Aloud, Katherine Jenkins, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Pixie Lott, Bodyrockers, as well as Rimmel, to name but a few.
Elle, born Eleanor Nancy Gow in Australia, and the team spent March casting the most stunning girls. Not just at official casting dates, but also on the street, in supermarkets, in cafes …. All very exciting.
This year she will be joined by a star studded cast including fashion designer Julien Macdonald, former Calvin Klein star and male model and actor Charley Speed, as well as stylist Grace Woodward.
The show’s winner will be awarded: a contract with Models 1 and Revlon Cosmetics, the cover of and spread in Companhy magazine, a worldwide campaign for Miss Selfridge, a luxury holiday at Sandals Resort in Jamaica and a brand new Peugeot RCZ.
Out on air this summer on Sky Living HD. GoSee presents the eye-catching trailer.
And should you want to check out the equally worth-seeing making-of the spot and Trudy in action: go to SKY.
