NEW : Südlich-t, Post Production & Visual Effects, Munich und Zurich with Lions in Cannes, spots for BMW and STABILO

Südlich-t is NEW at GoSee. The VFX and 3D studio, with branches in Munich and Zurich provides creative post production and a full service for moving images. Besides the classic emphasis on composing and 2 and 3D animation, Südlich-t also increasingly specialises in preproduction and creation, to meet the demand for spots which are entirely realised in digital.

This year, Südlich-t was presented with two awards at the Cannes Advertising Film Festival. ‘The stickiest Add in the World’ spot was awarded Bronze in the ‘Media Lions’ category. The BMW ‘Tabletrick’ viral also impressed the jury who honoured it with a Bronze Lion in the ‘Film Lions’ category.

Südlich-t was the post production in charge of the visual effects of both films. The team is of course very proud and excited to share the award with Serviceplan and Brainstormclub who ordered the commissions.

The new ‘STABILO - Easy Ergonomics Experts’ spot has been broadcast on German TV since 5 July. The imaginative project provided a great opportunity for experimentation, in collaboration with the Wächter & Wächter agency. A temperamental professor invents perfect pens in his laboratory for pained children’s hands.

Save for the green screen filmed protagonist and the tables, almost all of the elements of the spot were realised by the Südlich-t 3D department. The animation of the realistic looking hands was one of the greatest challenges.

The actors, aquariums and hands in the 3D generated laboratory were integrated over several weeks of intense compositing. Visual effects helped bring the magical spirit of this unconventional TV commercial to life.

The artists feel comfortable in the spacious facilities and clients also enjoy comfort and service in the suites. The specialists in animation and design use their passion and plentiful experience to polish a film until the client is entirely satisfied. The perfect collaboration of project management, 3D department and compositing team is a given and guarantees reliability when it comes to project development and timing.

Furthermore, the latest technology enables Südlich-t to master any demands. Their everyday work includes handling RED data and the editing of projects in cinema resolution. They also cover the latest trend of stereoscopy.

Just like their partners in Munich, Südlich-t Zürich offers the complete spectrum of post production; from offline on Avid to Final Cut, to visual effects and 3D to classic online. Effective scenes are edited for adverting, image and feature films, as well as motion graphics (logo animation, internal company presentations, etc) and product visualisations are created. Their clients include agencies, film production companies, post productions, TV channels and corporate groups.
