Robert Redford is in the house ... much love from Cannes - we say its good to be back !

Je ne regrette rien – the motto of 20 years Dutch Young Creatives! This year, the traditional party was celebrated rather excessively in the Beachclub on the Crosissette. Well-spirited bouncers – all of whom are courageous members of the very young and energetic Dutch creative scene, creative hullabaloo all around the turntables, rosé and hard liquor on sale – a successful start to our creative roulette.

Plus, none other than the multitalented Robert Redford was on the festival’s official programme. He filled the halls of the auditorium to the last seat in less than no time, as expected.

Next up was BBDO-legend Steffen Gentis (all GoSee fans and readers will be familiar with him due to the director’s lounge), whom we gave a swift hug during the beach ball tournament – he is already looking forward to a film overdose in the festival cinema – and had a brief and good comment ready for Rolf’s cinematic enquiry: "It's good to be here again."

Claudia from the Post-Piraten in Düsseldorf kept to the tradition and put up some loungers and kicked back with dear colleagues and friends on the beach, where the GoSee team and Casting Company will put in a pit stop on Thursday at the latest – in top form and sporting our dancing shoes.

Until then, the likes of Google, Soup, Yahoo, E+P, Kodak, Markenfilm and many more demanded a visit. The first social initiative in form of Gina Rembe already crossed our paths then and there. She is on location for A&AD, the creative club run by colleagues from the UK and is busy promoting ‘The White Pencil’. Expect more details on this in the upcoming GoSee Cannes report.
