Silent World - the film accompanies the latest works by artist duo Lucie & Simon

Lucie from France and Simon from Germany use all sorts of photographic tricks to depopulate the world in 'Silent World'.

The two Paris-based artists are particularly keen on depopulating world famous tourist attractions. Their work covers places such as the Place de la Concorde, Montparnasse and the Louvres, as well as popular destinations in New York.

And just to make things even more interesting, they have a tendency to leave the odd number of people scattered around their visual world. The true measure of one's nature can only be found in loneliness.
