Sometimes the line between friend and enemy becomes blurred- 4 Days in May, the trailer on GoSee

The story makes you catch your breath. Four days before the end of the Second World War in Germany. A soviet captain, who occupies an orphanage by the sea with his team of scouts; a German Wehrmacht unit based on the beach; a hidden love that blooms despite all taboos and conventions. All are weary of fighting, except for 13-year old orphan Peter who wants to try his luck at being a hero and tries to stir up the troops. Until he too needs to admit that the true enemy has always been hiding somewhere else and he finds a fatherly friend in the alleged enemy.

This time, the line is not drawn between friend and enemy but good and evil. 4 TAGE IM MAI (4 DAYS IN MAY) is the story about the return of humanity after years of darkness, a film about forgiveness, respect, overcoming prejudice, friendship and love. In cinemas in Germany now.

Director Achim von Borries (LOVE IN THOUGHTS) tells a tale based on a true story. 4 TAGE IM MAI was produced by Stefan Arndt, X Filme Creative Pool (THE WHITE RIBBON, GOOD BYE LENIN!), together with Alexei Guskov (THE CONCERT) and shot on the German Baltic Sea coast in summer 2010. The great costumes were crated by Nicole FISCHNALLER c/o GoSee member PERFECT PROPS.
