Take Care ! charity event by Kiehl's presents travelling exhibition with celebrity photos by Nela König and live gig by KLEE. Making-of spots and new KLEE video on GoSee !
US-American cosmetics company Kiehl’s is supporting the ‘Shop-for-a-cause’ charity event, which in turn is run by the kids & youth network DIE ARCHE. A travelling exhibition in July featured portraits of celebrities such as Alexandra Neldel, Simon Verhoeven, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Janine Reinhardt and many more and what they imagined themselves to be once they ‘grow up’.
After stops in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich, the grand finale took place with a bang and a private concert in the Arty Farty Gallery in Cologne. The highlight of the exhibition evening, apart from the cool drinks and Balinese cuisine by Varuni, was the live gig by KLEE. On top of several famous songs such as ‘Gold’ or ‘Die Stadt’, they performed an exclusive preview of the upcoming album ‘Aus lauter Liebe’ and the new single ‘Willst Du bei mir bleiben?’.
Jo JANKOWSKI c/o K STIEGEMEYER photographed the LP’s cover and booklet on the streets of Paris a few weeks ago.
A staggering 2.5 million children in Germany still live in poverty – leave the house without breakfast or go without lunch. Even the United Nations has expressed concern about the social state of Germany and has warned that there is currently no comprehensive programme in place to tackle issues of poverty.
5 Euro from every Ultra Facial Cream sold (limited special product for the charity project, available at Kiehl’s Stores and on www.kiehls.de) will be donated. DIE ARCHE e. V. provides kids with a cooked lunch in over10 cities in Germany and provides homework help as well as some much-needed attention.
