Vanitas - the Staerk label welcomes Spring Summer 2012 with a dance on video

It seems that fashion alone does not cut it these days. The same goes for dancing. Everything and everyone needs an image. A framework, a system of values you can buy over the counter. The concept is included in the product free of charge.

One can see the negative side of these facts. But we recommend taking a look at the film by the dancers of the Royal Danish Ballet for STÆRK, realised by avant-garde filmmaker Barnaby Roper in collaboration with Danish singer songwriter Sune Rose Wagner of The Raveonettes.

Designer Camilla Staerk masterminds the label and her upcoming 2012 collection is inspired by Danish painter Hans Henrik Lerfeldt.

Camilla graduated from the British Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and turned some heads early on with her designs. She won Top Shop's New Generation Award three times for her collections and enjoyed a regular onslaught of positive reviews in magazines such as British Vogue, Women's Wear Daily, New York Magazine or Elle Paris.
