Artbox : NEW entry SERIAL CUT, TELEGRAAF newspaper, the Zilveren Kruis Achmea family, cover takes El Canto De Los Quetzales and 'The Nude' for AOP
Spanish creativity studio SERIAL CUT is a new entry at Artbox, bringing with it a broad and wide range of services, such as illustration, graphic design, 3D, motion and AD.
The founder of Serial Cut Sergio del Puerto explains: “The main objective is to provide clients with a very special, trendy and personal way of communicating their product. I always arrange to deliver quality artwork because good work attracts better work.”
The constantly expanding team is experienced in bringing external creatives into the workflow, should the specific client's requirement call for it – and that is exactly what makes the style and philosophy of Artbox so unique.
Irene JACOBS created the ‘Haanbieding’ for TELEGRAAF newspaper, Netherlands, a linguistic cocktail of the Dutch for 'rooster' and 'sale'. The visual will support the new 'Every day a good offer' campaign and is used on the website and POS.
The ‘Zilveren Kruis Achmea’ also keeps expanding and is always delighted to welcomes new faces. Today illustartor Bardo HOGENDOORN has created over 60 characters for the large Health Insurance Company, used on all media channels, including TV, print and social networks.
Theo AARTSMA realised a cover illustration for Dagus Ediciones from Costa Rica. The story is called 'El Canto De Los Quetzales' ( The Song of the Quetzals) and the author is Victor Roswell.
Quetzals are unbelievably colourful birds that mainly inhabit the mountains of Central America. The story is about a boy who dares to enter the jungle, searching for medicine for his poor ill mother. The illustration and other works by Theo can be found on GoSee.
Ingrid BAARS and her 'The Nude' series is one of the nominees in the London Photographic Association (LPA) competition:
Ingrid comments: “African Art inspires me. What I wanted to achieve is to build a large series of two-dimensional sculptures based on classical African Art that would have the same strong presence I find in some wooden statues and masks.
Besides this I felt the need to reveal the slightly musty aura that African Art has these days and wanted to place it within a contemporary frame. I explored my freedom as an artist within the boundaries of this theme.”
