VARIÉTÉ LIBERTÉ in the former Filmpalast - art on the silver screen in the heart of Cologne
Gauloises will open its VARIÉTÉ LIBERTÉ in the former Filmpalast cinema on Hohenzollernring, Cologne from the 1st of October 2011. Gauloises and its VARIÉTÉ LIBERTÉ support talented artists and supports the creation of 'Urban Art' in the Rhine metropolis. Fine artists Marco Zumbe, MrTrash, Pau Quintanajornet and Rakaposhii are the protagonists of the VARIÉTÉ LIBERTÉ.
The interesting programme includes such illustrious attractions as ‘Le cinema abstrait with Raphaël Marionneau’ on the 26th of September from 8-10pm on the cinema’s stage. Here, silent movie meets DJ-Set. The expressionist silent movie 'The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari' from the 1920s is considered one of the milestones in film history. In Germany, the gloomy masterpiece will enjoy a new level of dramaturgy: Raphaël Marionneau will underscore the movie with a live DJ-Set.
More highlights of the event can be found on the website. And a big merci: entry to VARIÉTÉ LIBERTÉ is free for over 18-year-olds.
The supervising agency is Feinbrand Marketing GmbH from Hamburg. On location at the Rhein city are Glenn Deiters and Leif Krüger.
