Claudia Bitzer : SKODA, DUNHILL, new People Photographer

For Oscar VAN DE BEEK the Tour de France started in March. Leagas Delaney (AB Antje Seidenberg and CD Heiko Schmidt) sent him to South Africa in the spring to shoot three motifs themed *Tour de France* for client SKODA. To give the photos the right dynamic feel one professional bicycle racer and 9 semi pros were hired for the shoot. For them it turned out to be a well paid practice for the tour, having to ride the mountain stage a whopping 20 times for the perfect shot. A nice little extra to the shoot was the crossing of a bridge, which was closed for renovation… For Oscar it was quite a challenging production as well. But in the end he managed quite delicately to unite the people and cars in the foreground with the racers and landscape in the background. Verena KNEMEYER is new to the team of Claudia Bitzer. The 28 year Hamburg photographer specialised People where she developed her own style. Photography is more for Verena than just a job. In her free time for example she organizes the *Bilderbazar* which takes place every year.
