Viva Models, Berlin : NIKOLA Jovanovic for GUCCI, RIVER Viiperi in a DEDICATE editorial, COLE Mohr rocks HILFIGER DENIM, WRANGLER, ACNE campaign, MARCEL Castenmillar for VERSACE
This year, GUCCI, like many other fashion labels, decided to shoot this year’s Autumn/Winter campaign with plenty of contrast: the shoot took place in the Marrakech desert. NIKOLA Jovanovic presented the skinny suits in a slim and slick look. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot the images.
‘Final Fantasy’ is the name of a Japanese computer role-playing game and anime series. DEDICATE magazine realised an editorial inspired by the island’s unique looks and booked RIVER Viiperi to model the results. Tetsuharu KOBOTA c/o ARTLIST PARIS was the photographer of choice.
COLE Mohr rocked the studio with a whole horde of craziness for the new HILFIGER DENIM Autumn/Winter 2010 campaign. In the words of Tommy Hilfiger himself: "If it wasn't for Rock ‘n’ Roll I would never have been a designer.
Anti-model legend and Madonna-ex TONY Ward was booked for the new WRANGLER Blue Bell motifs. The results are eye-catching images of an urban cowboy and a film, which lets the viewer decide for themselves: jacket on, jacket off? Off! More here!
PETER Bruder presents the exact opposite in the latest ACNE campaign. He comes across as almost aristocratic and feminine in the Spring/Summer 2011 collection – sometimes even like a film star from the 30s.
Androgonous is the keyword for the current VERSACE look. MARCEL Castenmillar’s long hair emphasises the concept and stars in the autumn campaign by legendary photographer Mario Testino.
