Anke Luckmann : hits the road with a wind machine and plenty of foliage for STIHL leaf blowers and two days of helicopter emergency rescue action
When the new picture editor-in-chief Dietmar Liz-Lepiorz (who just left ‘Time Magazine’ for the ADAC publishing house) rang up Anke and offered her coverage of the ADAC aerial rescue 40-year anniversary, she immediately confirmed her interest.
She spent two days accompanying the so-called ‘Leipziger Staffel’ on their operations and documented their daily routine. She thinks that flying a helicopter is amazing but prefers to sit in the front seat when the emergency cases are treated in the back of the helicopter.
After the series was published in ADAC MOTORWELT, it was also released in the ADAC 2011 yearbook.
Anke travelled to Barcelona and surrounding area and portrayed three different models of the STIHL debris blower for STIHL.
Equipped with a van full of foliage, wind machines and a super team, they managed to transform each and every location into the desired autumnal backdrop. They could have gone without the water wagon though since the skies decided to open up and provide some authentic showers.
GoSee Member IMAGE NATION took care of the on-location support and Andreas Freitag c/o SUBLIME headed the post-production.
