Christoph Siegert : art filters for OLYMPUS Europe and MASTERCARD Happy Island promotion

Last year, OLYMPUS Europe commissioned photographer Christoph Siegert to capture the features of the new E-30 camera. This resulted in the publication of a magazine for Europe and the Arabian Peninsula.

Olympus approached Christoph Siegert to photograph their art filters. These are preinstalled filters with a great variety of moods, B/W, saturated colours and de-saturated shades. An old fashion styled pinhole camera was also used.

Christoph felt that the diversity of a circus setting would provide an ideal environment in which to demonstrate the range of picture and colour styles. The photos were realised at a villa, which acts as both the winter residence of a small circus and houses a circus school.

MASTERCARD released an advert last year, which Christoph had realised on the Nanuja Lai Lai Fiji Island. The model and the turtle got on swimmingly.

On completion of the shoot, the ocean turtle returned to its Pacific Ocean home. The agency was McCann Erickson in Frankfurt, with Art Buyer Michelle Heinemann.
