Christian SCHMIDT was able to once again prove his reputation as one of the leading landscape photographers. The focus of the campaign: two boys, one tent and a whole lot of woods. Christian was able to bring to life the promising layout dreamt up by art director Irina Schestakoff (Ogilvy).

Even though the production conditions weren’t ideal in Teneriffe: the coldest winter in decades and never ending torrents of rain. The team however, didn’t give in to it raining on their parade, as the quality of the final image goes to show.

Ten motifs in five days: despite heavy snowfall and short winter days, Oscar VAN DE BEEK managed to shoot impressive images just before Christmas, for DAIMLER AG’s MERCEDS-BENZ VEHICLE service. The realization was aided by the helpful workshops in Southern Germany and the hard working, unnerved team. The team comprised: AD: Natalie Primorac, CD: Henrik Koppmann (both c/o Wire Süden, Stuttgart), Production: Klaus Herde and Sandra Bürkle.

Ulrich HOPPE photographed the Poggenpohl showrooms in Herford for a HÄUSER magazine special on luxury kitchens. The focus: Porsche Design P 7340. The challenge was to capture the exclusivity of the interior, despite the narrow dimensions. This required precise lighting and a crafty choice of perspective. Harry WEBER shot an anti-gambling addiction campaign for the German ministry of health. The agency was McEmotion Hamburg. Harry was assisted by Frieder Zimmermann (CD), Aki Dzubilla (AD) and Marion Walter (AB).

This was followed by a project which Harry carried out in boomtown Shanghai. Having photographed the city’s streets last year, he now focused his camera on the builders that are adding to Shanghai’s size on a 24hour basis. Harry recently photographed five motifs for the Scholz & Friends agency. And last but not leasrt, he realized two motifs of interesting looking dolls (to say the least) whilst on trips to various cities.

Verena KNEMEYER has spent the past few weeks concentrating on the subject of fashion. Following various catalogue productions for the Economia agency of Hamburg, she took over a lingerie shoot, which gave rise to an idea for a piece of free work.

This was followed by a catalogue shoot for AGENT PROVOCATEUR, which saw Verena and her whole team get together.
